Gauge max value set to same scale as Metric value

Currently, the max value for the Gauge can only be displayed without the scale.
Since we can set a scale for the main Metric, it would be nice to have the max value set at the same scale (e.g. $4M), or have the option to set the scale for the max value as well.

The improvement request that you've submitted was implemented.
Now the scale of the Metric value and Gauge (max) value(s) is the same (see an example screenshot).

The issue is that I can't set the scale of that max value to be the same as the Metric value at the top of the Gauge.

Thank you for sharing your feedback.
Are you referring being able to see the actual metric value as the max value on the Gauge, where currently there is no max value displayed when 'Metric' option is selected (see the screenshot)?
Can you please explain more about your use case in order to better understand your request?
