Setting order of metric Dimensions in chart legend

Currently, there is no way to set the order of the legend items (metric Dimensions) for multi-line Line Charts.

It would be nice to be able to order these metric Dimensions in the chart's legend, and it's colors as well. Perhaps by ordering them in the chart settings (Datablock Editor) when selecting the Dimensions.

Good news! You can now set the order alphabetically or by value (default) or custom in case you have multiple metrics to a chart. You can read more about it here: databox.com/new-visualizations-and-powerful-charts-2

In order to better visualize Dimensions of a same class throughout a Databoard, it would be great if the colors of their lines could be changed and assigned to each Dimension separately. This could be applied to the Line and Bar charts, and possibly Pie charts as well. That way, one Dimension will have its own unique color on every Datablock. It can be misleading if one Dimension has one color in one Datablock, and in on other Datablock the same color represents other Dimension.
For example: One Dimension should always have green color assigned, other always red, and so on.

I would like to be able to edit the color scheme, even on a category level so that my B2C segment in Databoard is always in the same blue.

We have a Databoard showing 16 Pie Charts. In 12 of those charts, light blue refers to the category 'no x-sell', and on 4 charts light blue refers to 'x-sell' instead of darker blue. This impacts the readability of the Databoard and leads to confusion.
Allegedly, this is based on the category with the highest share in the Pie Chart. However, I would like to always relate the color (shade of) blue to the same category.

Another example would be a Databoard with a Bar chart with multiple stacked bars.
I would like to assign the colors from a given color palette to specific categories so that the color scheme supports the readability. E.g., the lower minimum durations to the blue end of the palette, the higher minimum durations to the red end of the palette, and then yellow in the middle. In the current situation, the color assignment looks random.

It would be great if we could play around and align the colors to the categories the way we would prefer.

Hi Larry,

Thanks for sharing your feedback.

Does the following post cover your improvement request:
roadmap.databox.com/b/chart-improvements/sort-bars-in-bar-chart-by-name?
Or are you referring more to set up the Legend and the Dimension colors?
