Currently, we have to copy Databoard from Client to Agency Account in order to be able to copy the Databoard further to a different Client Account.
It'd be nice being able to copy Databoards directly from one Client Account to another Client Account, without doing a middle-step by copying Databoard through the Agency Account.

We've introduced the ability to share Databoards between different Client accounts.
The process is streamlined for your convenience—just hover over the Databoard tile and locate the option in the "more" menu.

Customer would like to have the ability to copy the Account Templates from the Client Accounts to the Agency Account.

The user wants to be able to copy Databoards from one Client Account to another Client Account and not only from the Agency Account to Client Account.

Hi Eric,
Thank you for sharing your request.
I'd like to mention that you also have an option saving Databoards as Account Templates (under Client and Agency Accounts). You can read more here: help.databox.com/article/439-overview-account-templates.
However, it works similar as copying Databoards - you can not access Databoard that was set as an Account Template under Client Account from other Client Account, it first has to be set as an Agency Account Template.
But you can save your Databoards as Agency Account Templates and those will be accessible from all Client Accounts. Note that Databoards saved as Account Templates does not count towards your Databoard account limits, and remains under the account even if the original Databoard is being deleted.
Does this help?

Thanks, Sandra.
Doesn't that require accepting the Databoard into the Agency Account and connecting it with Data Sources? That's the problem, because our agency doesn't have the same Data Sources as our clients do. Thus the desire to copy a Databoard from one Client Account to another Client Account.
But perhaps I'm mistaken about Account Templates needing to be connected to a Data Sources?
Sandra
That's correct. If you'd like to transfer Account Template from the Client Account via Agency Account, you'd have to have those Data Source types connected (e.g. Google Ads Data Source - not the Client Account Google Ads account though, etc.).
However, you can create Databoards with Basic Metrics under your Agency Account without having Data Source type connected at all, set it up as an Agency Account Template and accessing it via any Client Account. But if you'd like to include any Calculated or Custom Metrics built by Data Calculations or Query Builder features (without specific account based filters set up, e.g. Google Ads specific campaign) the Data Source type would need to be connected.
