The premade Google Sheets/Databoard Template combo could be a great package.
The biggest hurdle is understanding which buttons to click to get the visualizations mapped. It’d be cool if there were some readily available to use.

I really like this idea, as we use Google Sheets for data a lot, and having that integrated would be amazing. That way, metrics would already be set and built out.
What is the progress update on this request, as it's Planned but has not moved forward?

Thanks for following up on this.
For now, our team has implemented a Google Sheets wizard that helps our users with Custom Metric creation. Learn more here: help.databox.com/article/293-overview-query-builder-for-google-sheets#wizard.
A next step will be working on these templates. At the moment, we don't have any ETA on it, but we'll notify you via this post.
