The customer would like the possibility to use Databox as an ingest point and export data as .csv, then use this information for deeper internal analysis.
Being able to export data would be very valuable, as there are chart limitations in Databox, and we need to be able to show data in a specific format for stakeholders.
User has requested the ability to export data from dashboard into a CSV file. This would be particularly helpful in situations where you have tables with many rows that will not be displayed on a PDF or JPG snapshot.
Use Case:
Customer is not able to find an option to export data from Pipedrive into Excel, but is finding this data using Query Builder in Databox. It would be convenient to export these values from Databox into an Excel file.
User use case:
The ability to export all data feeds from Databox to Excel would help in performing some additional analysis on the data, which would help make the most of Databox's aggregation capabilities.
User Peter's use case:
"I would say the biggest thing would be if we could export Databox into Google Sheets or Excel.
Databox is a great place to aggregate metrics from different sources and show those in different time periods.
But in order to then translate that into a more commonly used Excel format, you basically have to recreate the data outside the Databox.
So anything that gets aggregated into a Custom Metric and Databox is stuck in this sort of ''black box''. The ability to export that easily so that I can take a Custom Metrics chart and convert that into Excel rows would be hugely, hugely helpful."
For now, we can not provide any timeline on this improvement. Our team is currently working on many excited projects, such as this one: roadmap.databox.com/b/product-features/ability-to-create-a-custom-pdf-report/.
In the meantime, can you please provide a client's use case about how this feature would benefit yours/their business, so we can better understand the importance of it for your clients?
The data I view in Databox is coming from different integrations. If I need to dig deeper, I can go to the original source.
However, there are some things (like counters and non-historical metrics) where Databox has become the system of record for us! So it's important that we can get the raw data out.
We are glad to hear that you find Databox valuable for your business.
Our team is looking into possibilities regarding this feature. We currently don't have any exact info nor ETA to share, but we'll notify our users about any updates (via this post).
Would be great if a table of data could be exported, especially when a table is visually only able to display a small number of the total rows (from up to 100 single rows).
For now, you are able to download Databoards as PDFs or JPGs via Scheduled Snapshots feature.
You can read more about this here: help.databox.com/article/138-overview-scheduled-snapshots.

We need to be able to export the data to Excel or Sheets to verify data accuracy.

We have been sharing screenshots, but having the export in Excel would help us use the data to create more branded graphs for clients.

Yeah, same here.
Use case: Client wants to dig through past data on their own to determine their internal metrics.
