I would like to be able to define ranges/sections within a Gauge chart by defining a min and max value, along with color.
Ideally, the number of ranges should be more than three (the max with Google sheets and Google Data Studio).

The customer would like to be able to set a min value on the Gauge. At the moment, it is 0, and he would like to set e.g. value for January 1st to be min value if he wants to see year to date (in that case, min value is the one he got at the beginning of the period).

That would be a great feature for KPIs in Online-Marketing.
I was looking for exactly this, but couldn't find it.

Hi Sandra,
Thanks for your prompt reply.
This is not really what I'm looking for indeed. See attached an example where the ranges indicate the official classification of a Net Promoter Score (NPS). This is just one example, but there are more.

Thank you for sharing this example.
Now we better understand your request. Our team will review if this is something that can be improved in the future.

Hi Werner,
Thank you for sharing your feedback.
Currently, you are able to set max value on Gauge visualization (see screenshot - red arrows).
As min value is always shown 0 (yellow arrow).
You also have an option to set Goal value, which splits Gauge additionally (orange arrows).
The current Metric value is not shown on the Gauge chart itself, but above the chart (green arrow).
Note: The colors of the Gauge are changing based on the goal achievement.
But it's indeed not possible to select colors of individual ranges/sections at the moment.
Does this help? If this is not what you were looking for, can you please share your use case with us in order to better understand your request?
